At our "train the trainer" sessions we not only discuss and debate the issues surrounding seasonal food, we also cook a seasonal meal with the participants.
Whilst we try to include as much seasonal Swedish food as possible, we also endeavour to adopt more exotic "themes" for our recipes. We hope that these menus can be reproduced in the Nation.
We provide each participant with booklet on the current season. This booklet not only includes the recipes for the "train the trainer" session but also provides information on the seasonal fruits and vegetables used in our menus; including the nutrional benefits, how to chose the best quality produce; how the food should be stored and what flavours best complement the food.
